You might think the Slava Televisor (Russ.: "Телевизор") looks like a retro TV set and you would absolutely be right. This retro looking tube television watch was a well-known and popular watch around the 1970s. By creating this remake Slava put a lot of effort to recreate the famous shape of the case. It's not a rectangle, nor a circle, nor a barrel but more a combination of all of these shapes. Looking it simply cannot be boring. In order to ensure the 10 atm waterproofing, special requirements had to be put on the processing of the glass and case. The mineral crystal had to be shaped and cut very carefully, for better protection against scratches it is plated with sapphire coating. A genuine, maintained Slava 2427 automatic caliber is the centerpiece of the watch with the characteristic quick date correction lever at 2h. And although so much so much workmanship is put into this watch, it is still below 1 cm of height.
Each watch comes with an original pre-mounted Slava titan bracelet in a beautiful gift box that is covered in genuine leather.
