Developed in partnership with VE brand ambassador and extreme motorcycle adventurer Karolis Mieliauskas, this watch was put to the test by Karolis during a grueling 2500 km off-road motorcycle journey called the "Route of Tuaregs" through the harsh, dusty, and hot environment of the Sahara Desert. It has demonstrated exceptional resilience against heat, dust, and some of the toughest conditions on our planet.
The watch features the new Expedition case design, which includes a slim, elegant bi-directional rotating bezel marked with compass indicators. Drawing inspiration from the traditional navigation techniques of the Tuareg people, the watch enables the wearer to navigate the desert by using the sun along with the bezel and hands. A compass usage guide is engraved on the case back, emphasizing its functionality as a true tool for explorers.
Its color scheme mirrors the Sahara itself: warm, sandy tones reflecting the desert landscape, paired with deep black highlights that pay tribute to the Tuareg's traditional attire. The case’s sandblasted and brushed finish evokes the textures shaped by wind and sand. Built tough, the watch is water and dust resistant up to 20 atm, ensuring protection against desert storms, heat, and extreme weather.
Each package includes two straps: a black silicone strap designed for comfort, durability, and performance in extreme conditions, and a textile strap that references traditional materials with a rugged look to complement the desert-inspired aesthetic.
